• PREFERENCES
Stones per pit controls how many stones (3, 4, or 5) are placed in each pit when a new game is started.
Numbering selects the degree of exactness that is used when pit numbering is enabled. Exact shows the true amount, and estimate shows the number if it is less than five.
Free turns toggles whether or not a last stone placed in your home bin will result in a free turn.
Opponent specifies the level of the computer opponent.
• Dr. Chaos randomly selects a move
• Kevin always empties the bin closest to his home bin
• Mad Dork employs a mixture of multiple strategies
• Mike uses all of the Dork's techniques, as well as a horde strategy
These opponents are meant to teach you how to play the game; they are relatively simple algorithms and thus are no match for an experienced human. If you get bored, change the number of stones per bin.
• CHOOSE STONES
There are four different stonesets available for use with Mankala. Examples of the two nice sets are shown below.

• SHOW AMOUNTS
Selecting this option causes the number of stones in each bin to be displayed. This makes things easier, as you will always know exactly where your last stone will land.
